damn quater

"the quarter" yeah how would you feel if you were playing basketball and somebody threw a quarter at your face and you had to get stitches? well that is what happened to junior during his varsity game. some anomus person threw it at him and hit him in the forhead and he did'nt even do anything about it. If i was junior i would have been pissed as hell and been throwing punches around. so he got carried off to the hospital and he had a consussion and he gots several stiches in his forhead. well that is the story about junior and "the quarter"
What would you do if someone where to do that to you?

One of my favorite parts of this book is when junior is trying out for the basketball team. I liked how he never gave up when he kept on getting up to guard Rodger. coach kept on telling him "go again", 'line up again", "you can do it." That shows that he had people who believed in him and that gave him determination to never give up. so he did that even though he failed 3 out of the 4 times coach believed in him so coach put him on varsity as a freshman.

"The only thing you kids are being taught is how to give up. Your friend Rowdy he's given up. Thats why he likes to hurt people. He wants them to feel as bad as he does."

Has anybody ever felt or seen anybody feel these emotions?
